A registry for serious collectors

Provenance, valuation, and paperwork — in one place.

Not a photo album. A balance sheet for the cars in your garage.

Marque is a quiet, precise tool for managing a collection of cars. Track titles, registration, and service. Watch market value with AI-cited comps. Renew with one click. Built for the way you actually keep records.

Features

Built around how a collection is actually managed.

Six core capabilities. No feature creep. The interface gets out of the way so the records stay accurate.

AI-cited valuations

Marque AI pulls comps from Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, Classic.com, and Hagerty — every estimate with sources, mileage, and date.

Title parsing, human reviewed

Upload a title — Marque AI extracts title number, state, lien holder, owner. You confirm 4 fields and save.

Renewals before they bite

Registration, insurance, smog, major service. 30-day and 7-day cascades by email and SMS. One-click renew.

Receipts by email

Forward any receipt to your unique address. Marque parses vendor, amount, vehicle, and category. You confirm.

Per-vehicle P&L

Cost basis, capitalized improvements, service, fuel. When you sell, get a Schedule D helper PDF.

Encrypted documents

Titles, registrations, insurance, service receipts. Encrypted at rest in Supabase Storage. 2FA available.

The 2 a.m. feature

Pulled over. Find what you need before the officer reaches the window.

The Glove Box keeps registration, insurance, title, and VIN one tap away on your phone — encrypted, cached, and biometrically gated. No flipping through a stuffed compartment. No app-store sign-in flow at the side of the road.

Biometric unlock

Face ID or passcode. The documents stay encrypted until you authenticate.

Cached offline

Works in a tunnel, on a flat phone signal, at a curb under streetlights.

Read-only on the go

View registration, insurance, title, VIN. Edit only from the desktop.

The before

Most collectors don’t have a system.

Spreadsheets, memory, a folder somewhere on a Mac. Then a registration lapses, a receipt vanishes, and the “system” reveals itself as no system at all.

“Unfortunately I just have to remember. Bad system.”

Why this exists

I built this for the
way I keep records.

A friend of mine got a bill in the mail one day for a car he didn’t realise he still owned. That was the moment.

I’d been sourcing collector cars with neighbours since the middle of 2020. Somewhere between the registrations, the insurance applications, the transport quotes, and the folders scattered across my Mac, I’d started losing track of what I owned myself — and definitely of what they owned.

Marque is the centralised hub I wanted: one place for every car, every document, every cost. Built for the way a collection is actually run, not the way an app would prefer to model it.

FAQ

Honest answers.

Why is Marque priced higher than basic collection apps?+

Because Marque isn't an album — it's the operational layer. AI valuations sourced from six auction venues, automated renewal cascades by email and SMS, encrypted document storage with 2FA, per-vehicle P&L for taxes, glove-box document access in the car. Apps in the $5/month tier are typically photo galleries with a calendar. If your collection is worth six figures or more, one missed registration or one wrong valuation costs more than a year of Marque.

How are valuations calculated?+

Marque AI searches live market data — Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, Classic.com, Hemmings, PCarmarket, and Hagerty Valuation Tools — and returns an estimate with 3–5 cited sold comps. Confidence score and reasoning are visible. Manual override is one click away.

What if I have a 1-of-1 car or restomod?+

Edge cases get a low-confidence flag and clear "needs another look" prompt. Your manual valuation is always respected — the AI is a tool, not the boss.

Is my data private?+

All documents are encrypted at rest in Supabase Storage. Auth via Supabase with optional 2FA. We never share or sell collector data.

What about state-specific rules?+

V1 ships with text-only reminders that you enter manually for inspection / smog. Auto-detection by state is coming.

Can I share access with my accountant?+

Today, sharing is by credential. Role-based read-only access for accountants and insurance agents is on the roadmap.
